The Secret to Weightloss

Perhaps you think that in order to lose weight you need to cut your calories way down. However, when we cut our calories below our Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR), which is the rate at which our bodies burn calories when we are resting, we do ourselves more harm than good.
Our bodies need calories to sustain the vital functions of our body like breathing, heart rate, waste removal, and cell repair and growth, even when we are resting. When we cut our calories way below our RMR, our body shifts into starvation mode, making our metabolic rate very slow. So, even though we are eating less, it's hard to lose weight because our bodies are fighting to keep the energy it has stored in body fat.
Lyssie Lakatos, R.D., and Tammy Lakatos Shames, R.D., authors of Fire of your Metabolism: 9 proven principles for burning fat and losing weight forever, offer these tips to boost our RMR:
1. Do 30 minutes or more of aerobic activity at least four to five times a week. Try brisk walking, biking, or dancing to burn calories and get your hard pumping.
2. Strength-train three times a week to increase your lean muscle and the rate at which your body burns calories (see the weight-training section in my Health4U site).
3. Don't wait more than five hours before you eat another meal (except at night). Skipping meals can slow your metabolism and deprive you of the energy you need.
4. Eat breakfast to wake up your metabolism after a night's sleep. Having breakfast gives you energy and helps prevent overeating at your next meal.
In order to lose weight, we need to boost our metabolism. To boost our metabolism we need to eat every few hours and we need to exercise at least five days a week. When your metabolism is high, you burn calories even when you are resting, so make sure you boost your metabolism by following the tips in this article.

How to loose weight with "Fat Binders"

So what the ****** are fat binders I hear you cry: The term Fat Binders refers to a kind of natural weightloss products whose components are lipophillic. This means that they can bind and "accumulate" fat molecules. How can this help you control overweight? Very simple. After taking a fat-binding product, the active components disseminate through the intestine and bind a balance of the fat molecules that come from the food, stopping them from being absorbed and integrated into the body. That "excessiveness" of fat adherers to the fat binder is annihilated along with the fasces. I like the word annihilated..It means gone forever. Are you - like so many of us - looking for a natural way to lose those extra lbs and attain a healthier, happier body, then fat binders could be the answer you are searching for.
100% natural and traditionally derived from plant extracts, fat binders can furnish you with the complete stepping stone to accomplishing an easy healthy weight loss, with no of the risk that can come with some chemically induced weight loss accessories.
So what are fat binders exactly?
In simple terms a fat binder is an element that binds and accumulates fat molecules.
So let's just say for this example you eat a double cheeseburger. (Which you are not going to do anyway ...are you!!!)
Once your hamburger has been broken up by your stomach, it will move into your gut where it will come across the fat binder you absorbed before. From this point your fat binder will begin binding the fat corpuscles making them too big to be absorbed back into your body.
But this is not all fat binders can do.
Beside their natural power to cut back your day by day fat intake, fat binders are also known for being effective appetite appetite suppressant*, enabling users to reduce their meal portions and reduce without having to starve themselves.
And the great thing is, as soon as you have taken the fat binder it will begin to work to bind your fat and offer you effects on its very first day.
How are "fat binders" better appetite suppressants than most appetite suppressants?
When you traditionally take an appetite suppressant, they assist you to cut your appetite by making your brain think your body is full, when it is not. They basically directly affect your central nervous system, altering your hunger signals and the timing in which they are released.
Fat binders on the other hand they act upon and within your digestive tract to help bind your fat molecules and lose weight. Additional, fat binders have no other affect within your body.
Why decide to use a fat binder?
Equated to most weight loss supplements, fat binders may offer you an intelligent weight loss, with no risk.
You see among one of the most repeated problems you'll find in even the most popular weight loss supplements is their side effects. Chemically altered/made, some may be able to offer consumers a steady weight loss over time, but beside these weight loss benefits consumers will also be able to find an array of disquieting side effects, that are not only just obnoxious but life-threatening to your health too.
For instance how many weight loss supplements have you seen in the media that have been suggested as a means to losing weight beside other dietary changes and exercises?
The answer is not many. But add a natural fat binder to the equation, and you'll experience a different media outcome altogether.
Take for example natural fat binder Proactol. Medically backed and clinically proven to work, Proactol for 2 years running has been voted by both slimmers and dieticians alike as one of the top 5 ways to naturally lose weight in 2009.
Combined within their top 5 tips of: eating 6 times a day; having a good breakfast; surrounding yourself with support and setting yourself a honest exercise plan, the Telegraph has placed natural fat binder, Proactol, as their second top tip.
Yet compared to most fat binders Proactol can offer consumers a range of other natural health benefits too:
• Lower blood cholesterol • Expanded joint flexibleness and energy levels • A decrease in food cravings • A 450 daily calorie reduction • No acknowledged side effects
And with medical backing from the Medical Device Directive 93/42 EEC, consumers can take Proactol confident in the knowledge that with its natural fat binder benefits on hand they can begin to lose a steady 1-2lbs a week with minimal exercise.
So offer your body a natural solution to healthy weight loss and the feel the joys and experience a healthier happier body.
bye for now

How Does Water Fasting Weight Loss Work?

In case you're wondering if water fasting weight loss works then you have come to the right place. Thing is, that there are both pros and cons to loosing weight by the method of water fasting.
Water fasting also goes by the name of detoxification and hence loosing weight by water fasting is a very effective method to detoxify your body. The process of water fasting involves drinking a lot of water while not eating any regular food for several consecutive days. While this is a "hard core" version of water fasting; it is not recommended for a newbie. In case you're water fasting for the first time then you can also drink fruit juices along with water. Since you are only drinking fluids during detoxification, the focus of your body will shift away from digesting food and hence the elimination of accumulated waste inside your body will begin in a smooth way. So in a sense, detoxification is an excellent method to overhaul and fine tune your system.
In addition to general internal cleansing of body, water fasting can also aid in loosing body weight. The major source of energy in our body is glucose which is what we get from every single food item that we eat. Glucose is a form of sugar and it is converted into glycogen after the digestion of food. This glycogen is then stored in our body as fat. During water fasting, this fat starts burning since the body is not getting any additional fat from outside. Hence, within the first few days of water fasting, our body will start burning the internal fat reserves which are responsible for additional weight. Although this method of weight loss by water fasting has been in practice since time immemorial, recent studies have revealed that there are certain limitations to this method.
The initial detoxification and internal cleansing of the body are very important and must be done at least once every year so as to "tune up" your system. But if done for more than four days, the metabolic rate of your body begins to slow down. This is because your body will then start behaving in its natural tendency to store fat. In other words, your body will slip into "survival mode" and hence will burn less or no fat. Moreover, once you return back to your normal diet, your body will start gaining all the lost fat as a natural reaction to "replenish" all the fat starved cells in this "survival mode". Hence, it is conceivable that you may actually gain weight once done with water fasting.
However, this does not mean that Water Fasting Weight Loss doesn'. The key is to not overdo things. Fast as long as you can without punishing your body. Remember, excess of anything is bad and Water Fasting Weight Loss is no exception to this. Our bodies are approximately 85 percent water and hence it's a very vital element for our survival. If done correctly, then water fasting will take your energy to new levels and you will feel vitalized and refreshed throughout the day.
